ARTISTERIUM is an annual International Contemporary Art Exhibition and Art Events held in Tbilisi. It features international exhibitions, individual art projects, and a variety of educational and cultural programs. ARTISTERIUM brings together artists, artist groups, curators, and art critics from around the globe.

The event is organized by a non-profit organization Artisterium Association led by Iliko Zautashvili, an artist and art historian; Magda Guruli, a curator; and Archil Turmanidze, an artist and graphic designer.

The title "ARTISTERIUM" refers to the art club that operated at the art magazine ARS in the 10s of the 20th century in Tbilisi. The club was renowned for its vibrant and intense artistic environment, avant- garde exhibitions, poetry evenings, lectures, and other activities that responded to the modernistic and cubo-futuristic tendencies of the time. The name of the event allows us to reconnect contemporary art in Georgia to Tbilisi’s modernist roots.

International artists' past projects have generated significant interest among Georgian audiences. Recognizing the importance of introducing the Georgian contemporary art scene to global approaches in multimedia art practice, ARTISTERIUM aims to create a platform for exchange that fosters new perspectives and approaches within the ever-evolving world of contemporary art and culture.
